Audio Reporting
Casey has won several awards for her audio reporting, including a national Edward R. Murrow award for continuing coverage of the historical Arizona teacher strike. Her coverage and skills span the gamut from live, breaking news hits in the field to in-depth audio investigations. She loves audio reporting so much, she now volunteers at the local community radio station in her area.
Video Reporting
Casey has also produced various video projects in her current and past roles. She has mainly produced for digital correspondents, pitching stories, finding sources, prepping questions and directing live and recorded interviews. She edits all of her pieces on Adobe Premiere.
Skills
In addition to video and audio production, Casey is skilled in script writing, story development, and project management. She also is familiar with national and international audiences, creating graphics and social media production and livestreams on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
